about us

Made by parents who get it

Mt. Elephant is run by a small team that includes working mums with young children — so everything we make is shaped by the reality of modern family life, not by how things look on paper.

We know the daily pressure that comes with feeding a family. You want to give your kids something nourishing, delicious and fun, but real life doesn't slow down to let you. There are school mornings, lunchboxes to pack, weekend sleepovers, after-school chaos, and the constant, quiet mental load of trying to make good choices — over and over again, every single day.

Our philosophy: wholefood first, guilt never

We believe food should be nourishing, but it shouldn't be intimidating. It should be made with ingredients your grandma would recognise, and it should still taste good enough that kids actually want to eat it.

We're a team of genuine healthy foodies, but our approach is a moderate one. Sweet food isn't the enemy here. If you want something sweet, you should be able to enjoy it — no lecture attached. For us, it's about choosing better ingredients, eating with balance, and never letting food feel stressful or loaded with guilt.

We also believe in cooking with kids — in helping them understand food, their bodies, and the simple joy of making something themselves. But we're realistic too. Not every parent has the time or energy to cook from scratch every day, and that's not a failure. It's just life.

Our goal is to help busy families make choices they can feel good about. Not perfect choices. Better ones.

Why we do it

We're driven by a love of food, a love of innovation, and a belief that better-for-you products should still feel joyful.

Behind the scenes, our test kitchen is always at work — playing with new flavours, formats and ideas. We're interested in products that make healthy food more accessible, but also more exciting. We're not here to make "health food" that feels worthy but boring. We're here to help the next generation fall in love with cooking, baking, and eating well.
